把中文的想法直接翻成英文，很容易出現一些「文法上有點怪，但聽得懂」的句子。這不是因為誰不用功，而是母語的習慣會自然帶進另一個語言。這篇挑幾種說中文的人很常出現的錯誤，一組一組來看。哪一句你也寫過，就當作做個小健檢吧。
第一組：動詞的小毛病

- 少了 -s：中文的動詞不會因為主詞不同而變化，所以「他喜歡」的「喜歡」和「我喜歡」一樣。英文現在式的第三人稱單數要加 s，很容易漏掉。
- be 動詞加動詞：agree 本身就是動詞，「同意」不需要 am。
- I very like it：very 通常不直接修飾動詞，要說 I like it very much，或者 I really like it。
- open the light：中文說「開燈、關燈」，英文的燈要用 turn on／turn off，也可以是 switch on／off。

第二組：不可數名詞加了 s

information、advice、homework 這一類名詞，習慣上都當成不可數，不加 s，也不能直接放 a／an 在前面。想說「一項建議」要用 a piece of advice。可數與不可數的整理可以看這一篇哦。
第三組：動詞後面的介系詞，多了或少了

discuss 和 marry 後面直接接受詞，不用再加 about、with；listen 和 wait 則是要加 to、for。這一類只能靠慢慢累積，有時候中文「聽音樂」沒有「到」，英文卻要有哦～
第四組：連接詞，一個就夠了
中文習慣「因為……所以……」「雖然……但是……」成對出現，英文通常只用其中一個：

It rained, so we stayed home. — 下雨了，所以我們待在家裡。
Although he was tired, he kept working. — 雖然他很累，他還是繼續工作。
要說「因為」用 because，要說「所以」用 so，兩個擇一。
第五組：boring 和 bored
The class is boring. — 這堂課很無聊。
I am bored. — 我覺得很無聊。
-ing 形容的是造成那個感覺的東西，-ed 形容的是有那個感覺的人。想說「我覺得無聊」，寫 I am boring 會變成「我是個很無聊的人」，這個誤會真的有點尷尬，哈哈。
第六組：問怎麼說
想問「這個字英文怎麼說」，比較自然的問法是：
How do you say this in English? — 這個用英文怎麼說？
不太自然的是「How to say this in English?」，中文的「怎麼說」沒有主詞，英文卻需要有人（you）來說。
也不是所有的「中式英文」都算錯
